During a recent humanitarian trip where I was the photographer, I captured some images that gave me chills. I couldn’t stop thinking about how I needed to find these people and get them copies of the images. Then I remembered another house we visited showing us a faded wedding photo from over 50 years ago and I realized I could fix that. I could offer people a chance to have recent, beautiful family photos to add to their walls. Aubs Free Family Photos was a no brainer at that point. Now the adventures begin. Lets come together and give people all over the world something special to cherish in their homes.

I have had some imposter syndrome while organizing this. Knowing that what I am offering isn’t actually “helping” anyone live a better life. But then I think of how much people LOVE seeing their images and how happy they look when they get to hold the print in their hand. Then I am able to realize that giving someone a moment of happiness does make their life a little bit better. So I am not going to let the fact that I can’t heal someone from sickness stop me from healing someone from sadness. That being said I do need help to be able to continue this into the future. Donations will go 100% to going on these trips and purchasing the materials needed for printing and framing. Anything you can give is greatly appreciated. If you would like to be involved in other ways please let me know. You can’t really get enough help when giving back.

Our first trip to start this journey will be in Merida Mexico. Knowing us, it will only fuel our fire to do more. So the ask is, where are we going next to capture the beauty of family, for those who can only afford to keep memories in their minds? Adding us to your next humanitarian trip as your photographer will give us a chance to give free family photos to people who want them while we are doing whatever work you are there to do. This is just an added bonus to the mission. Plus you will get awesome documentation of all the things your group was able to do so you can have beautiful images of the amazing things you are doing.
